Our Hotel Waldhäus'l, built in 1885, is located in the Kirnitzschtal in Bad Schandau, at the gateway to the national park. Our family business offers you relaxation in a cozy, sophisticated atmosphere and relaxation from stressful working days, without cell phone reception in the middle of nature. Our well-kept rooms are modern and functional. Something very special about our house is our generally very much appreciated kitchen. Here the hotel owner personally takes care of your meals as head chef, from the lovingly designed breakfast buffet to the sophisticated 3-course evening menu.

The town center of Bad Schandau can be reached in just a 20-minute walk along the idyllic Flössersteig. But you can also comfortably use the bus or the historic Kirnitzschtalbahn, the stops are right in front of our house.

Unser Hotel ist Ausgangspunkt für die 4. Etappe des Malerwegs, welcher gleich vor der Haustür beginnt. Wir würden uns aber auch freuen, wenn Sie etwas länger bleiben würden. Es ist auch möglich mehrere Etappen von unserem Haus, an verschiedenen Tagen zu starten und jedes mal zurück zu uns zu kommen, um den vollen Genuss des Hotels zu spüren und zu erleben.
